How Your Project Moves from BOM to Shipment

Each stage has a defined owner, a quality gate and a record in our MES system, so you always know where your boards are and what has been verified.

STEP 01

NDA & DFM Review

NDA signed before RFQ. Engineers check Gerber, BOM and centroid files and return DFM/DFA feedback.

STEP 02

Component Sourcing

Parts purchased from qualified channels, inspected on arrival and logged for traceability.

STEP 03

PCB Fabrication

Bare boards produced to your stack-up, surface finish and impedance requirements.

STEP 04

SMT & THT Assembly

Paste printing, placement and reflow, followed by through-hole insertion and soldering.

STEP 05

Inspection & Testing

Optical and X-ray inspection for hidden joints, plus functional testing to your test plan.

STEP 06

Box Build & Packing

Coating, programming, enclosure integration and ESD-safe packaging.

STEP 07

Global Delivery

Shipped worldwide with a 99.5% on-time delivery record.

Buyer Questions

PCBA Sourcing FAQ

Straight answers to the questions overseas purchasing and engineering teams ask most before qualifying a new PCB assembly supplier.

What PCBA services does STHL provide?

We cover the full electronics manufacturing chain: PCB layout, component sourcing, PCB fabrication, SMT and THT assembly, BGA assembly, IC programming, conformal coating, cable and wire harness assembly, box build and functional testing.

Is there a minimum order quantity (MOQ)?

No. We accept prototype, low-volume and high-volume orders, so you can validate a design with a small batch and scale on the same lines and quality system.

Which quality certifications does STHL hold?

IATF 16949 (automotive), ISO 9001 (quality management), ISO 13485 (medical devices) and ISO 14001 (environmental management). Work orders are traced through ERP and MES systems.

How do you protect my design files and IP?

We sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement before RFQ review, so your Gerber files, BOM and firmware are protected before any engineering evaluation begins.

What files do you need to start a PCBA project?

Typically Gerber files, a BOM with manufacturer part numbers, a pick-and-place (centroid) file, assembly drawings and your test requirements. Our engineers return DFM feedback before production starts.

Which countries do you ship to?

We ship to the USA, Germany, Italy, the UK, Poland, New Zealand, Argentina, Brazil, Turkey, Korea, Thailand and 90+ other countries and regions, with a 99.5% on-time delivery record.
